Joys Of Full RV Hookups ~ Dirty Part Of Fulltiming ~ Why I Prefer Boondocking ~ S4E24

When you only have full rv hookups 20-30 days out of the year, long showers in your rig are amazing! Granted, I have never used the entire 10 gallons of hot water while showering, it is nice leaving the water on during most of the shower. But Kobuk gets to choose his new food and we get ready for our trip to Bend Oregon, the only place we love more than Portland. I discuss a few aspects of the dirty part of rving and then the joys of boondocking.

Arriving & Filming At Marathon Coach ~ Halibut RV Dinner ~ S4E23

I am not sure if you could tell or not…but we are pretty obsessed with the Pacific North West. Portland is an amazing city and I wish everyone reading this could experience it. But, it was time to hit the road and we got ahold of our friends at Marathon coach and lined up a shoot. Once arriving G headed to the store while I got caught up on some online work. It certainly is nice having full hookups!

Great Food, Ice Cream & People ~ Exploring Portland Oregon ~ S4E22

After taking a day off from editing and filming we explore the amazing city of Portland. We start our day by visiting the Hawthorn District and getting some amazing food. After walking around Hawthorn we head over to the Pearl District and G gets some running cloths shopping done. We finish our day in the Knob Hill district for some awesome ice cream and a drink while we wait on traffic to die down. And yes, G was in charge of filming today. Sorry for any motion sickness that may have occurred!

G Returns ~ Lacamas Trail Run ~ Preparing The Laundry ~ S4E21

After a few days of getting work done at roadmaster G arrived back to the RV. She was away throwing a surprise birthday party for a friend of hers in California. Fuzz and I head to the airport to pick her up and Kobuk about had a panic attack when he saw her again…it was only a few days! Then we get some running in on an awesome trail. What did you think of the sequence? Was it cool seeing the local area or no? Then we head back to the rv, shower and get ready to get some laundry done. Also, from now on, I think I may post the boondock review videos on Saturday from now on…even if there are multiple videos.

Health & The Road ~ Spare RV Tire & Rim Rack ~ G Drives & I Fly ~ S4E20

45.666906,-122.543138

There are tons of RV channels out there now so I hope the one lesson you take from watching us is the importance of staying healthy. I have seen and heard way to many stories of people saving their entire lives to travel (RV or Suitcase) and not be able to do it because they are not healthy enough. Take care of yourselves people! Then I discuss the spare tire rack and how I attached G’s bike to it. Then G gets some driving time in while I fly the drone to get our new exit for our videos. Lastly, we drive into the Portland area to do some exploring.

Back To Traveling ~ New RV Boondocking Spot ~ Catching Up ~ S4E19

We start this video in the Kennewick Washington Walmart Parking lot. This is a common stop for us on our travels up and down from Alaska. We spent a decent amount of time at our friends Savannahs and we are getting all caught up on these videos. After a great sunny drive we arrive at our new boondocking spot. Here we plan to get some running, online work and filming done. Tomorrows video will be longer, I promise 🙂

Free RV Camping Review ~ Osborne Bay ~ Eastern Washington State

47.919450,-119.032051

Like most free boondocking spots, you really do not know what you are going to get until you arrive. Thankfully for us, this turned out to be a great spot. The drive in and out was a little rough but it was worth the bumps. Finding a level spot for our RV was not easy and it did take some time to get it within spec. But, once set up with a full fridge and water tank, I could have stayed at this location for a very long time. This was a popular shooting area so those who do not enjoy being around firearms should not camp in this area. I did notice a large amount of trash thrown about the campground accompanied by a lot of shell casings. My theory is this is used as party grounds. So, with that said, weekend nights may not be the best time to camp. Booze and guns do not mix and it seems as though they do here from time to time.

Almost Perfect RV Boondocking Spot ~ Biz’s Last Video! ~ s4e18

Whatever RV we get next, be it a diesel pusher or a toy hauler, having larger capacity for fuel, water and battery power is a must. This spot would have been perfect for me if I had more battery storing capacity. If I were to come back here to get work done I would be running the generator all day and evening just to power my laptop. If I had a larger battery bank I could charge the batteries with the Gen and then use that power storage for 5-7 hours easily. With my current setup my batteries die around 1-2 hours max. We then hit the road towards our friends in Spokane.
