Biz & G Drive The RV ~ Arriving Back In Alaska ~ Gas Station Boondocking ~ S5E25

After an amazing Northern Lights show around the fire we head out bright and early towards the Alaska border. I had been planning on having G and Biz drive this portion as it is very open with little traffic. G and Biz did a great job! Then, we head across the border and find an awesome free boondocking spot at a gas station.

The Alaskan Border ~ RV Not Searched ~ Negotiating Free Boondocking ~ S4E5

It is always a great feeling stopping at the border. This year we got some awesome drone footage as well as some great Biz produced footage. Then, we head to the border and get our gun across once again without being searched. After a long day I negotiate our free boondocking spot by buying some snacks 🙂

Alaskan Solstice RV Trip ~ What Was She Thinking? ~ Lots Of Folk Music

After spending time slide out to slide out in Seward we were very excited to explore outside of town! Its not that we do not like the spot we have, it is just great to be able to go out and explore and not be boxed in! Anyway, we make it to Moose Pass for the festival and try a new RV park. The attendant thought we were going to park the RV and bust out a tent…maybe? People always ask how I am able to stay calm in certain situations. Im not too sure but while editing this video I was getting frustrated! Then we head over to find out Kobuk couldnt come in to the festival and we had to put him in the kennel. For those tired of hearing about the dog, sorry, you will just have to get used to it 🙂 Then we dance the night away and drink some local beer. We ended up having 6 people in the RV. 3 on the blow up mattress, one in the passenger seat and G, Kobuk and I sleeping in the back in our beds. All in all it was a great time! Thanks for reading this short story that you could have just watched instead 🙂

RV Workamping ~ Alaska Sea Life Center ~ Live & Work From Your RV

Over the last two years G and I are been very fortunate to be a part of the Sea Life Center. We have been given a RV spot on Resurrection Bay with water and electric in exchange for hours at the center. It has been an awesome experience and if you are currently searching for a work camping spot in Alaska be sure to check out! http://www.alaskasealife.org/

Exploring Alaska Salmon Fest 2016 ~ Do NOT Drive Your RV In A Wet Field! SFT 2

We LOVED salmon fest! This video is actually two days that I spliced together to make one video. BTW, what do you all think of the voice over videos. I felt like with this type of music event it was the best way to show our time here. Then, when we parked in the field the entry way was solid grass, by the time we left it was a mud bog. The spot you will see us leave JUST opened up that morning. I ran back to the rv and got everything packed and we made our daring escape!

RV Work Camping In Alaska ~ Kenai River Stream Watch ~ Black Bear Search

If you are planning an Alaskan Summer in your RV I highly suggest you look into this program! After some breakfast and a beautiful drive to the Russian River campground I start my day on the water. We interacted with man guests and stopped by a berry patch to get a quick snack! We then clean up a remote fishing location and see some HUGE king salmon. Later, we make it to the weir.

Setting Up The RV ~ Talkeetna Beer Fest ~ Last Trip Of The Summer!

We get everything set up and head over to the small town of Talkeetna Alaska. When you combine good food, beer and company you are certain of a good time. We had an awesome time at the beer fest and at Talkeetna. Now, I am ready for the upcoming trip back to the lower 48. I think next year, if we do go back to Alaska, the video format will be about the opposite of what is was this year.
