Best Waffles Ever Made ~ Frozen RV Pipes ~ Arriving In Whitehorse ~ S4E8

While making breakfast G and Biz broke out into dance, I was lucky enough to snag a quick video of it. After some amazing waffles I discover the water pump was not working. Come to find out the pipes in the RV had frozen overnight. Before heading to bed around midnight the under bay was at 33 degrees. Later in the evening it got much colder. After some sunlight and hand warmers the pipes were still frozen. After getting packed up we headed towards Whitehorse, the capital of the Yukon Territory.

Amazing Free Boondocking Spot ~ Living Status Of 3 People Living In Our RV ~ S4E7

Out of the two years of boondocking this has to be the best free boondocking spot we ever stopped at. I could see us staying here for over a week if it was the summer months. I personally could have stayed here a week with the current weather conditions. We get set up and have dinner by the fire. As we sat by the fire we saw the best Northern Lights show I have ever seen. Such a great spot!

The Alaskan Border ~ RV Not Searched ~ Negotiating Free Boondocking ~ S4E5

It is always a great feeling stopping at the border. This year we got some awesome drone footage as well as some great Biz produced footage. Then, we head to the border and get our gun across once again without being searched. After a long day I negotiate our free boondocking spot by buying some snacks 🙂

RV Workamping ~ Alaska Sea Life Center ~ Live & Work From Your RV

Over the last two years G and I are been very fortunate to be a part of the Sea Life Center. We have been given a RV spot on Resurrection Bay with water and electric in exchange for hours at the center. It has been an awesome experience and if you are currently searching for a work camping spot in Alaska be sure to check out! http://www.alaskasealife.org/

RV Work Camping In Alaska ~ Kenai River Stream Watch ~ Black Bear Search

If you are planning an Alaskan Summer in your RV I highly suggest you look into this program! After some breakfast and a beautiful drive to the Russian River campground I start my day on the water. We interacted with man guests and stopped by a berry patch to get a quick snack! We then clean up a remote fishing location and see some HUGE king salmon. Later, we make it to the weir.

RV Newbie Experience ~ Chilly Root Farm ~ Grilled Sockeye Salmon

After an amazing egg scramble breakfast with purple potatoes we headed back to twin sisters to grab a coffee. Afterwords, we headed over to Chilly Root Farm for a quick tour. If G and I ever get land up here in Alaska we are for sure getting a high tunnel greenhouse! Afterwords I try my hand at grilling salmon and it turned out amazing

Homer Training Run ~ Grace Ridge Brewing ~ Aj’s Steakhouse Dinner

What do you all think of this voice over version of our travel vlog? We start the video soon after our last video detailing our trip into Homer. We head down to the spit to run a 6 mile run for our upcoming race. Then we stop by one of Alaska’s newest breweries and try some of their beer. Lastly, we stop by AJ’s steakhouse for a rare right now and end our night playing on the beach and a bonfire. Enjoy your weekends!

Driftwood Inn RV Park ~ Homer Farmers Market ~ Visiting An Off The Grid Cabin ~ HTP3

I discuss the awesome RV park we stayed at the beginning of the video. After the RV park we headed into the local farmers market and picked up some fresh produce from the local area. Speaking of produce, we then went to visit our friend at his off the grid cabin. I got some awesome videos from his place and will be posting them over the next few days. Then we take a 8 mile run along the spit before heading home!

Work Camping In Alaska ~ Kenai River Stream Watch Program ~ Trip 1 Part 3

It is always a hard sell whipping out your camera and filming without really knowing someone. After getting to know Bruce and speaking with him I felt comfortable getting the camera out and showing a little bit of what we did along the river. Once I got the camera out Bruce was all for it! For the amount of time we were down there and knowing the trash was just picked up the day before, we got a TON of stuff from the river!
