While gas is better in Canada than the first year in my Class B Camper van it is still not cheap for our RV. However, we were treated with some fantastic views on our drive to Liard Hot Springs!

Our timing could not have been worse for this windshield crack. Fresh pavement on the ground caused a spray of rocks to come up and nail our windshield. O well I guess. Later on the sun finally returns and we visit the Sign Post Forrest!

We wake up to quite the surprise in Whitehorse. Our RV is totally covered in snow and we have to decide to wait it out or try and make our way through it!

We finally make it to decent road conditions and one of the first things we encounter is a giant grizzly bear! He ever came over to check us out. After that we drive through one of my favorite little villages, Destruction Bay. Then we finally make it to Whitehorse where we can hardly find a place to park!

We had heard the roads were better than the spring and all we could do is hope! Rumor has it that Canada does not want to pay for improvements to this section of the road because only US travelers use it. The US does not want to pay for it because it is in Canada, haha. So we have to put up with these roads for a while longer it seems.

We awoke to our full-time RV fridge beeping at us. We have had a decent amount of trouble with the NorCold fridge. I feel as though it has caused us the most trouble in our time int he RV thus far. Later we head down a beautiful road towards what we hope is better road conditions.

We finally made it to the Alaskan border in our RV! It has been nearly 10k miles and we are excited to get past all the bad roads found in the Yukon Territory. It was a great feeling finally making it across the border!
