After some cold sweats we make it through the tunnel in our RV. On the other side we are greeted by even more amazing scenery. After we search briefly we find a parking spot and plan to stay there overnight.

We continue our awesome trip to Arches National Park. We explore the park and check out some remote locations. It blows us away how wild and free the park is. You are able to walk and explore around the entire park! Then, after exploring, we head back to the RV, return the rental car, and hit the road again. We stop by a natural spring on the way out and refill our water.

When I was living in Denver we ended up taking a quick trip to Arches. I really did not get a feel for it then and I felt the same after this day as well. The park is so huge and amazing it is hard to take it all in! But, we rented a car and did our best. Utah is an amazing place for sure!

Turns out…no one knows what the sound is coming form the rv… Soon after graduating college I moved out to Denver. It was the first time I had lived in a Capital city in the United States and I loved it. Denver is an amazing town with tons going on! I wanted to show G the city so after some great Nebraska driving we made it into Denver.

We wanted to get a real feel for the city and decided to leave the RV park for a day of drinking. However, this trip is not a drunk fest. Rather, it is more of a history tour of the city while sipping on some historic drinks!

We decided to take the scenic back country Louisiana route. This is easily done with a car, with an RV it is not so easy. First of all, every little bump feels as though the RV is about to fall apart. Also, you may run into a low clearance situation…like this video.

We loved our time at the French Quarter RV park as well as New Orleans. However, it was time to hit the road. Sadly for us, drivers would not let us in when we had to switch lanes. With that said, it took a while longer for us to make it out of the Big Easy but finally made it out of town!

As mentioned before, we loved Southern food! But, the spot that takes the cake and blew everything else we had away? It was the Acme Oyster Co! The ambiance, the food and our shucker who talked to us the entire time was amazing! He showed us how shucking works and told us all about his life. He has to do this every day all day and he did it with a smile on his face!

Being that I was a new RV driver, this was a very scary experience! But, after arriving at the RV park, it was worth it! I absolutely love this town! It had been a few years since I was here last and it was good to get back!

While exploring we are always on the lookout for great food! While in the South, we had some great food but this was my favorite meal of the entire trip. I must warn you, we went the year after and the tacos were not half as good. Maybe it was an off day or I built them up?
