Exploring & Hiking Zion ~ RV Camp Spot Opened Up! ~ Setting Up Camp ~ S1E35
After a full day of hiking we made it back to the Info Center. If you enjoy a challenging hike check out observation point! I asked one of the park rangers about parking an RV outside of a campground. She said with certainty that we would be ticketed if we did not find a camp spot. So began a frantic search for an RV spot and we found one! Lucky!

After some cold sweats we make it through the tunnel in our RV. On the other side we are greeted by even more amazing scenery. After we search briefly we find a parking spot and plan to stay there overnight.

We continue our awesome trip to Arches National Park. We explore the park and check out some remote locations. It blows us away how wild and free the park is. You are able to walk and explore around the entire park! Then, after exploring, we head back to the RV, return the rental car, and hit the road again. We stop by a natural spring on the way out and refill our water.

When I was living in Denver we ended up taking a quick trip to Arches. I really did not get a feel for it then and I felt the same after this day as well. The park is so huge and amazing it is hard to take it all in! But, we rented a car and did our best. Utah is an amazing place for sure!

We wake up early once again at the RV park but this time it is not for filming, it is for the drive we have ahead of us. We wanted to get a run in one of our favorite stops in BC, Peachland. After a quick run we hit the road to the city of Kamloops…well the outskirts of town. There is a boondocking spot we always stop at that has an amazing few (will be in the next episode) Thanks for watching everyone!!!!!!!

Sooo, with all of the footage we have been shooting of the RV trip up to Alaska I may have forgot about some footage from the night before. However, the sunrise the morning after was amazing! Then, we headed over to Tinhorn Creek Winery and hung out there for most of the day. After the days festivities we headed back to the RV park and played on the paddle board before cooking dinner in the RV.

We woke up early and ran off some of the beer from the evening before. I attached the GoPro mount to kobuk and got some awesome footage! (Be sure to check out the extra video I link to this video) Then we get all set up and start to head towards Portland. We made plans to park at Roadmaster and do some filming while we were in the area. We get set up outside of their facility and call it an evening!

After an early morning run I take the Bucks out on a quick walk and he makes friends with some horses! We leave our boondocking spot to head to another dry camping spot in a lovely little town called Port Orford! I push it to to try and make it to Oregon to get some cheaper gas that turns out to be a huge mistake.

After dumping the tanks from the last video we head a couple miles up the road to a Loves truck stop. This video shows our spot from the viewpoint of my DJI phantom. Then we do a quick workout before cooking breakfast and hitting the road. Later in the day we head towards Yosimite to meet up with Tom and Kobuks new friend, Buddy.

Well, the night before was a very interesting night… Lots of lessons learned and the lessons continue to come. We decided it would be best to get out of the RV and do some exploring. We headed up to Laguna Mountain Recreational Area, the same place I was thinking about trying to boondock, and hike with one of my oldest friends from Indiana. We then return back to the RV to cook some chicken and steak tacos!
